at our events
If you don’t see Community Pastors on a night out in town or on our railways, you will almost certainly bump into them at key annual community events such as summer festivals, firework displays, carnivals, Remembrance parades or Christmas markets.
We are the designated meeting point for lost children at Billericay’s Lake Meadows Firework Display, also offering a wristband scheme designed to quickly reunite parents with their younger children.

You’ll see us at annual Remembrance services in your High Street but we offer much more than just handing out orders of service. Perhaps you’ve been bereaved, losing a loved one in combat. Maybe you’re worried about current conflicts. We’re there to listen to your concerns and talk with you in complete confidentiality.Over the years, we have established good rapport with local Councils and emergency services, assisting them to ensure your safety and wellbeing.

Look out for the Community Pastors gazebo or coffee van often at our events. We’re always there to help out, or listen if you need to offload. Or just pop in for a friendly chat and a hot drink.
